    how do i delete unsuccessfully installed updates on windows 7 ?


    Im trying to uninstall updates that i installed because after i installed them one of the games i play stopped working and so far ive deleted all the updates i can delete but i cant delete some of the updates because they were unsuccessfully installed..

    He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink how do i delete unsuccessfully installed updates on windows 7 ? ;)
    Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

    Like:
    First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
    Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
    Then type this in command mode as admin
    mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

    Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.

    Hey,

    So recently my boot decided to have the option between "Windows 7" and "Windows 7" on startup... The first one gives me an error, the second is my actual Windows 7 install.

    I need to know which to delete on this list, so that i don't have to watch my boot... haha.

    Windows 7 Ultimate (64) Security updates not installing.

    I have been having problems in installing the updates that I have listed below. For each update I attempted to install them individually but they would not install. I also downloaded the SURT 6.1 KB947821 v27. The problem has been going on now for about 2 months. (whenever the issue with the updates comes to mind I am never near my pc). Thank you in advance.
