Windows 10: How do I detach an email from a PC profile?

Hiya, I recently bought the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360. I created a PC account with my email address but I hadn't added an email address in the actual settings of the account. While trying to create a new profile for my laptop for family to access, I accidentally instead added an email attached to my main, admin account. This email is not mine. How can I detach the email from the admin account without having to just delete the whole account and lose the data on it, as I have some pictures and other docs saved on this account? Also the email address I accidentally attached to the PC profile is my

To understand the issue better, let me know if the issue started after installing latest Windows Update?

If yes, I suggest you to uninstall the Windows Update that caused the issue and check if the issue occurs or not.

To uninstall the update follow these steps:

a) Right- Click on Start and click on
Control Panel.

b) Click on Programs and features.


c) Click on View installed updates.

d) Scroll through the list and find the update.

e) Right-click the update and
uninstall it.

Lost default photo viewer after profile rebuild

Thanks Brink. I've tried those steps before i started searching Google. After the profile rebuild i don't have the Photo app listed to choose to make it default in either the system settings for default apps or the Open With option.

I can't even find it doing a search. Seems to have been removed somehow with the profile rebuild, which doesn't make sense.

Might be helpful to list what i've done I've done the open with check, the choose default program in the system menu, tried that in device manager default programs also. I've checked the programs and features Turn windows features on/off and it's not listed there (never thought it was but that was a suggestion), searched the MS Store, it's not listed there either.

I don't like playing in the registry unless i have defined steps and haven't found anything for this yet, just the Win7 version like in my OP.
