Windows 10: how do I disable auto sign in when windows is booting?

I have several accounts on my computer, one for games and entertainment, the other for studying. When starting the computer, I am offered an account to choose from and asked to enter a password, but the problem is that if I log into an account other than the one I had enabled before, I see a notification that my other account is also running, although I did not start it, it started automatically because windows automatically starts the account that was active last. I.e. if I study and log in to another account after restarting, my study account will still be running! How to turn it off! It's t

Auto sign in problem.

Tnx guys, finally fixed it, Had to reinstate (and change) PIN (which was disabled) and than signed in with it. Got and used option in netplwiz to set auto login. Now it's what it should be. After every change had to reboot and go step by step.
Now to check and clean system and make a new MR backup and restore point.
Looking back I think it all started with KeePass which is now gone. I'm back on writing down passwords on paper and in a text file on desktop. That never fail as long as it's updated.

 

Best method to disable Vista/Vista 64 driver signing?

It's not a matter of "try". The bcdedit command is not fully consistent and reliable for some folks.

So far, to me, it seems the third choice always locks (disables) the driver signing. If that is the case for anyone who uses it, then that would suggest it is the more reliable and consistent method of the ones I've listed, anyway.

Auto logging into disabled account Windows 10

I was able to fix this by doing the following:

• Boot up the computer, then kill the power after startup is complete.
• Do step #1 again. (Two crashes within two minutes after startup will cause Windows to boot into Safe Mode automatically.)
• You will be forcibly logged in to Safe Mode with the Administrator account.
• Enable the Administrator account, and setup your normal account as needed.
• Restart again, you will auto login as the Administrator account (which has now been enabled).
• Log out of the Admin account, and log in with the normal account.
• Disable the default Administrator account once again.
