Windows 10: How do I disable BitLocker when the Volume is Locked? What Password am I suppose to Use?

I am not sure how this happened but I am now locked out of my computer by BitLocker. I am trying to disable BitLocker from the Command Prompt but it is telling me that the volume is locked. I followed previous instructions and I have no idea what password to provide. I cannot find the right key because the drive label being shown on the blue screen is not showing up under my devices. How do I get out of this nightmare? Thanks!

How to disable bitlocker auto unlock when my windows account password was changed?

How to prevent auto unlocking drives from my laptop when my windows password changed? Hack or change my account password to much more easy than decrypt disk, but why windows doesn't provide such functionality from the box? I looking for any scripts to auto unlock from powershell also.

I'm not going to "just disable unblock". It's very useful thing. I have too many things which starts from encrypted volume. I want to prevent access to my volume only just getting my account. If my system administrator account could be hacked, all sensitive data would be lost.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Login into your account
   
2. Set up bitlocker, auto-unlock
   
3. Restart PC and login into account
   
4. Drive unlocked
   
5. Logout from account (I switched off whole PC)
   
6. Ask sysadmin to change your password to new one
   
7. Login into your account with new password
   

Expected result: bitlocker drive locked

Actual result: drive unlocked

 

Automatically locking BitLocker volumes


Is there an easy way to have certain BitLocker volumes lock automatically after a period of user absence and lack of reading/writing to the volumes? Perhaps a utility that does this?

I've been playing with a scheduled task, but so far, it locks the volumes when I don't want them to, and is oblivious to when the volumes are being used.

Edit: I guess I will just use Shutter, which I have been using for a long time, but never for this. I'm guessing I will need to run Shutter with elevation for this (i.e. manage-bde.exe -lock -fd) to work. I was hoping to use a more dedicated utility, without having to learn how to do it in AutoHotkey or something.

Disabling the Screen Lock Password

I want to disable the password option on my screen lock. When i go to Settings -> Lock & Wallpaper I can change the password. but there is no option to turn it off. How do i turn it off?
