Windows 10: How do I disable Edge in Windows 11.

Hello, I am Nischay from Nippon Alloys IncI got my new computer, a Falcon Talon, with an i9 processor, an RTX 3080 video card and 64 Gigs of superfast ram.It runs great, but Microsoft Edge is bugging me.

MICROSOFT RECENTLY UPDATED MY WINDOWS 10 TO WINDOWS 11. THE UPDATE CAUSED MY MICROSOFT EDGE TO PARTIALLY NOT WORK.

WHEN I CLICK THE EDGE ICON, THE EDGE LOGO FIRST APPEARS AS USUAL. THE EDGE UPPER BARS APPEAR WITH A BLANK PAGE BELOW. THE SCREEN NEVER DISPLAYS THE HOME PAGE. IT JUST REMAINS BLANK FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS AND ABUPTLY CLOSES. EDGE IS A LOT FASTER THAN IE.
ANY SUGGESTIONS HOW TO RESTORE EDGE AFTER THE WINDOWS 11 UPDATE/UPGRADE APPARTENLY PARTIALLY DISABLED MY EDGE? I ALREADY RESTORED MY SYSTEM TO JUST BEFORE THE UPDATE OCCURRED. EDGE STILL DIDN'T FUNCTION. I THEN RESTORED THE UPDATE TO WINDOWS 11. NO CHANGE

IE 11 Cannot Import from Edge

Hi Nicholas,

As a workaround, we suggest you to export favorites from Microsoft Edge into a .html file and afterwards, import the .html file to Internet Explorer 11.

Here are the steps:

• Open Microsoft Edge.
• Click on the three horizontal dots on the upper-right corner of the Microsoft Edge window, and then click on
  Settings.
• Under Favorites, click on the View favorites settings.
• Under Import or export a file, click on Export to file.
• Select the folder where you want to save the .html file of your Microsoft Edge favorites, and then
  Save.

Once you have the .html file of your Microsoft Edge favorites, follow the steps below on how to import them to Internet Explorer 11.

• Open Internet Explorer 11.
• On the menu bar, click on File, and then click on Import and export.
• In the Import/Export Settings window, select Import from a file, and then click on
  Next.
• In the next window, click on the checkbox for Favorites, and then click
  Next.
• Browse and open the .html file you want to import, and then click Next.
• Select Favorites to import to, and then click Import.
• Once done, click on Finish.

Disable TimeBroker, Cortana and Edge in Windows 10

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Disable Cortana.

• Right click on the task bar.
• Select the "Search" option.
• You'll now see three new options for what to do. To make it go away altogether hit "Disabled."
• If you still want to keep it but want more space on the task bar, select "Show search icon" and the box will be replaced by a little magnifying glass icon.
  
• To make it all come back again follow the same steps but hit the option to enable the search box.

Step 2: Make Internet Explorer as Default Browser

I suggest you to make Internet Explorer as default Browser as you don’t wish to use Microsoft edge.
