Windows 10: How do I disable microsoft family safety and opt out on my son's accounts

Incredibly frustrated with this, I'll skip my rant and give the TLR:This got enabled on my sons devices, he has a school laptop and a gaming desktop and it briefly made his life a living nightmare at school until I figured out what was going on. And trying to disable it is turning into a nightmare.I consented and created his accounts and manage and monitor them personally with other solutions.Its terribly convoluted UI has no clear information on disabling or show any easy way of removing. How do I remove it from my sons accounts.I found advice that suggested I go to the 3 dots -> mana

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble adding your son to your family safety group. The error code you provided is not familiar to me. However, according to Microsoft Support, you can try the following steps to fix the issue:

• Make sure that your son’s account is a child account and not an adult account.
  
• Check if your son’s account is already part of another family group. If it is, then you need to remove it from that group first before adding it to your family group.
  
  - let him login to family.microsoft.com to check if he belongs to a family group or not
  
• Try adding your son’s account again after a few hours or days.

This issue might occur if there is change in family safety account.



To assist you better, please provide us the information below:

• Have you tried to log out or restart from the child's computer and logging in to the computer?
• Are you able to see the child account in the Family Safety settings after removing it?

I suggest you to refer to the steps below to remove the child account from the family safety account and also turn on
Activity reporting.
