Windows 10: How do I disable on screen keystrokes?

I’m not sure what combination of buttons were pressed by my son but I have a Corsair K65 mini keyboard for my gaming pc and he pressed some buttons now every key I press on the keyboard shows on the screen at the bottom. Looking to figure out how to disable this as it is very irritating and in the way.

Win 10 keystrokes go bonkers


when I hit one key sometimes it drops down a list to select from

sometimes it takes 2 keystrokes then just hangs

if I persist in trying Win 10 logs off and I have to log on again.

maybe the keystroke autocompletion feature?

Need help. My Win 10 system is now unusable until I resolve this issur.

Using a second PC to enter this problem description.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Why is the uninstal and disable function for my touch screen nor staying firm when I either shut down or the screen saver kicks in?

Let us try resolving your touch screen issue after the update. We suggest that you follow the steps below to disable it:

• Press Windows key.
• Type Settings.
• Go to
  Devices.
• Click on Pen & Windows Ink link.
• Toggle off the Handwriting Input Panel
  touse your finger as an input.
  
  Note: If the issue still persists, we suggest that you follow the steps below:
  

• Press the Windows logo key + X.
• Select the Device Manager from the list.
  
• Click the little arrow next to
  Human Interface Devices to expand the list.
• Click the touch screen driver.
  
• Right-click, and select the
  Disable from the list.
• Click yes on the dialog box if you are sure you want to disable the touch screen driver.
