Windows 10: How do I disable tablet mode or disable tablet mode sensor or use real keyboard in tablet mode?

I have a Lenovo Flex 5-1470 with Windows 11 and want to use it with an external monitor "in tablet mode". When it is in tablet mode the keyboard and trackpad are disabled. From what I have read and tried I understand that enabling the keyboard and trackpad is not possible for some reason when in tablet mode. I have found no help from Lenovo or Microsoft sounds like I'm not alone who refuse to acknowledge the problem or provide an actual solution and I am about to rip my screen off.Is there a way to disable tablet mode permanently?Is there a way to enable the keyboard and trackpad in table

Disable Keyboard and Trackpad in Tablet Mode

Hi,

I just upgraded to Windows 10 and I had a question about the tablet mode feature. I have a 2-in-1 convertible laptop, but when folding it into tablet mode the keyboard and trackpad are only disabled when the laptop is fully folded.

I don't know why it is set up this way as it would make more sense to disable the trackpad and keyboard once the screen is past 180 degrees.

I noticed the tablet mode activates once the laptop is past 180 degrees so is there anyway to set the keyboard and trackpad to automatically disable when Windows 10 is in tablet mode?

Disabling physical keyboard when in tablet mode

I have an hp spectre laptop that bends back to become a tablet, and goes into "tablet mode". In this tablet mode, however, the physical keyboard does not disable and when I have it in my lap I will inevitably start accidentally pressing random keys. Is
there a setting in Windows 10 where I can disable the keyboard specifically when I go into tablet mode? I don't want to have to manually disable it any time I want to use it as a tablet, that would be unreasonable...

 

Tablet Mode Disables Keyboard and Touchpad

My Lenovo Yoga 920, a 2 in 1, doesn't automatically switch into tablet mode, or back into laptop mode. Also, it doesn't disable the keyboard or trackpad when in tablet mode, unless the screen is pushed all the way back. Pulling the screen back up from that
point still keeps the trackpad and keyboard disabled, and the only way that I have found to re-enable the trackpad and keyboard is through restarting it.

I can turn on tablet mode on and back off again through the action center just fine. My tablet mode settings are set to "Don't ask me and always switch". Earlier today, my laptop didn't have the problem where the trackpad and keyboard would stay disabled
even after pulling the screen back, but I updated Windows and restarted it, which added that problem.

Any help would be much appreciated!
