Windows 10: How do I disable the annoying news icon on the search bar?

Hello! I have recently done an install of Windows 10 since my GPU almost died. I have disabled the annoying Bing Search, now I want to disable the annoying news icon on the search bar. I use Windows 10 22H2 and I need a working one, not one that doesnt work or is in Windows 11.

Disable new search bar in Outlook 365

OK. There is a way to disable this new search box in Microsoft Office 365. For Outlook:

1. Open Outlook 365.
2. On the lower left-hand corner click options.
3. In the User Interface options under the General Tab, click the checkbox Collapse the Microsoft Search box by default.
4. Click OK.

The search box will now disappear. However, disabling this option would only work on that application. If you open Microsoft Word or PowerPoint, you will need to do these same steps to disable the search box (if present) as well. Let me know if this works for you.

  Check show search icon

Dear Guardian Angel,

The above is perfectly working for me. Thank you for the post, but when I restart the machine search option goes to previous position, then I need to do the above steps again and run the Reg Edit to get this as normal. Why is that? Reg Edit i took from below link. Please help me.
