  1. How do I disable the left hand slide out window containing "widgets"?

How do I permanently disable read: make it go away and never come back the slide out window containing "widgets" on the left had side of my screen? It routinely slides out accidentally and interferes with whatever I'm ACTUALLY doing on my screen. All "widgets" have been removed, and the "widget" option in personal taskbar has been turned to off. I'm hardly the only person complaining about this, but so far I have not found an answer.

How to disable left screen side widgets when slide

    Hi,

I recently adquired a Microsfot Surface Go 3 and a stylus pen. I am lefthanded and I am having problems with that and widgets.

Many times I want to write, my palm slides on the left side of the screen and therefore the widgets window is opened. This is really uncomfortable and I would like to disable this behaviour (I do not want to use widgets).

    Regards,

    Abel

  4. How do I disable the left hand slide out window containing "widgets"?

How do I permanently disable the left swipe for articles and widgets?

I'm left handed and when writing with the slim pen, I continuously open the widgets causing me to be unable to write. It appears there isn't a way to disable this (only disable the widgets not the swipe). This issue makes the device almost unusable for the purpose I purchased if for (to take notes as an electronic replacement to a notebook). How can this be disabled and not reintroduced through the continuous Windows updates.
