    How do I disable the Linux icon in File Explorer, leaving WSSL installed?


    Is there a registry setting that disables this choice from FiIe Explorer leaving WSSL installation intact?Thanks in advance for any help you may provide.

    No access to Ubuntu files from Linux icon in file explorer

    Hello,

    From File explorer Linux icon, I try to acces to my Ubuntu file. On click, nothing happens and there is no Ubuntu files displayed in right side of File Explorer.

    Using \\wsl$ in the address bar, I see my Ubuntu files.

    My Windows is the following:

    • Windows 10 entreprise
    • Version 21H2
    • Build: 19044.2251
    Could you help me ?

    Cannot find Desktop Icon in File Explorer

    Now that is interesting. If I do what you suggest, File Explorer Address bar changes to C:\Users\username\documents and the missing ICONS are there. But there is still not a "Desktop" folder.

    Is this a step in the right direction?

    • Click the Start Menu.
    • Right-click File Explorer.
