Windows 10: How do I disable the requirement for a password each time I open my HP Pavilion Laptop...

This is my home laptop, and I am the only user. I guess when it was setup it asked for a password, and I obliged. Now it has changed to requiring me to change the passcode every so often, and it will not allow me to use previous passcodes. I have tried to disable this, and Googled solutions with no success. I would very much appreciate help with this.

I have a HP laptop Pavilion forgotten password

I have a HP pavilion laptop and forgot the user password to open the computer.

Does anyone know the correct command to use to reset the password. My user name and password is not listed with windows or microsoft.

 

I can not format laptop HP Pavilion 15t-eg0000 from external bootable

I have some issue on the windows of my new laptop. I downloaded WIN 10 iso file from Microsoft website then attached to the external USB via RUFUS app. The USB is bootable and recognized by the laptop but the local drive is not showing on the list of the drive. Is this a new security step on the BIOS? Please help me to sort out this issue.

 

Enable Require password on Wake up Windows 10

To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest disabling and
enabling the Require a password on wakeup settings on your power plan
by following the steps below:

• Open the Advanced power settings for your current chosen
  power plan.
• Click on the Change settings that are currently unavailable link.
• Set the Require a password on wakeup settings to Yes
  or No, and click on OK.
