    How do i disable the W key not Windows key + Space shortcut


    Pressing W+Space brings up a menu on top of my screen that shows other characters like how it would on a phone when you long press a key. The difference is i don't want it because when i go to a game and press the "W" key and space, instead of jumping it bring the others characters in my my case it displays some other sort of 'W's which is REALLY annoying and i want to turn it off I am on Windows 11 22H2, and a while ago this didn't use to pop-up. Have i turned on/off some setting or do I need to change something? This is irritating as jumping has become close to impossible without keyboard

    Windows 10 shortcut key not working - Please help

    Hey guys,

    I'm trying to create a shortcut key for a program/script that turns off my monitor. I've confirmed that the small program is working by double clicking on it. The problem I'm having is that when I go to create a shortcut key for it. First I create a shortcut to the program, then I set a shortcut key, say "ctrl-shift-s". After applying the changes, clicking Ok, I try to use the shortcut by pressing the ctrl-shift-s key combination. When I do this, nothing happens. I've confirmed that shortcut keys works with other apps like the Command Prompt. Does anyone have any insight to this?

    Hi guys,

    I'm using Window 10 SL. I face this issue when I accidentally press the shortcut key combination (Win key+ Space bar) while working. Is
    there a way to disable the shortcut key alone?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Devanshu,

    To get a shortcut key for the calculator, go to your desktop and then follow these steps for Windows 10

    1. Open the start menu

    2. Navigate to calculator in the apps list on the left hand side of the start menu

    3. Click and drag the calculator app to your desktop

    4. Right-click on calculator and open properties

    5. In properties there should be an option to add a shortcut key
