Windows 10: How do I disable update windows 10 finally

How do I disable update windows 10 finally I tried many methods none of which is working. Even though I did all steps below correctly , it doesn't prevent update from starting. My pc laptop is not qualified for windows 11 I dislike getting or seeing any update finally. Update does nothing better for the computer. It just increases the size of partition C with same or more similar features. [Windows 10] hide/prohibit install of specific Windows Update

I have never intentionally used windows to provide my device drivers (except for older printers without Vendor drivers for clients). I only manually update from the vendor websites. Will just have to make a list of things to disable/remove if I finally decide to load it up on a machine.

Thank you for trying to help , i did tried your suggestion but it did not work :/ , nothing seems to make it work on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709. In the meantime i have bought a new SoundBlasterX AE-5 and it did installed flawlessly , no problems whatsoever. it is up to Creative ( drivers ) and Microsoft ( bug fix ) to fix this huge bugs with Audio.
