Windows 10: How do i downgrade directx 12 to 11?

Hi, I'm having some issues with my gpu, such as unexpected crashes and freezes. It's pretty old nvidia quadro 1000m but it has always done its job in a pretty decent way...until now at least.I saw that windows installed directx12 with one of its last updates and i think it's driving my GPU crazy because it's not compatible with that version. Also i tried running heaven benchmark and it doesn't crash when i use directx9 or opengl, but when i run it with directx11 it freezes almost instantly. Could someone help? Thank u.

DirectX 12 downgrade to directx11 due to Graphic card request.

You cannot downgrade DirectX 12 to DirectX 11.

DirectX 12 is backward compatible with previous versions of DirectX

Lots of users have installed DirectX 11 for gaming purposes and this has caused system crashes, BSOD's . . . etc.

The best solution is run the apps that require DirectX 11 in compatibility Mode and choose Windows 8 compatibility

I do have directX, but just not 11, i have 12. My question is why I cant run a directX 11 app with directX 12. The link sent was a link to the directX installation. Please read the question before posting the answer.

DirectX 12 is fully backwards compatible to version 11, if you have DirectX12 installed, there should be no problem with DirectX 11 games.

Click your Start Button, then just type dxdiag and press Enter.

Select the Display tab on the resulting DirectX utility

Please provide a screenshot of that Display tab.
