    How do I downgrade from Windows 11 without any data loss?


    Hi there, I want to downgrade to Windows 10 without any data loss. I upgraded to Windows 11 about 2 years ago but now i really dislike it, how can I downgrade with NO loss of anything? When Microsoft says ‘no personal files are lost’, it seems really vague, what do i lose?

    How do i downgrade from Enterprise to Home windows 11

    Hello Steven,

    You could downgrade from Windows 11 Enterprise to Windows 11 Pro using the same method below without data loss.

    Need to downgrade to windows10-without data loss

    If the device came pre-installed with Windows 11 then the hardware may not be supported by Windows 10. You would also need to check with the manufacturer to see if the licence they used for Windows 11 will activate Windows 10.

    You cannot downgrade Windows 11 to 10 it must be a clean install which will delete all data on the drive.
