    I’ve downloaded an album in m4a format but I am unable to edit anything in the greyed-out columns and I’ve been unable to figure out how to un-grey them.As downloaded, the file simply contains info in the columns Name and Date Created. I’ve been able to add columns but cannot add info to them. I’ve added columns for Album, Album Artist, # as in track number and Year but I am unable to access them to edit/add the appropriate info..I’ve gone down some promising rabbit holes but eventually wind up back where I started because options described as a fix, don’t appear to be available when I wor

    why won't column headings in File Explorer (Windows 10) stay the way I set them??

    Hello,

    To resolve the issue with column heading on File Explorer, we suggest to follow the steps below:

    • Click on the View Tab.
    • Click Folder Options.

    • Click Apply to all folders.

    In order to understand the issue better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.


    • How exactly are you trying to expand the left columns in file explorer?

    • Are you referring to extend the area of the left column in File explorer?

    • Are you able to expand it in Safe Mode with networking ?

    in order to understand the issue better.
