Windows 10: how do i enable graphics card without monitor

i accidentally disabled one of my graphics card on my laptop with broken screen, i use HDMI to connect it to another monitor. after disabling the card, hdmi cant receive any signal from my laptop, display is visible in laptop its just that i cant see anything on my broken screen, i cant do anything, i cant enable the card again because i literally can't see anything on screen. so is there any way of enabling the graphics card/using second graphics card for another monitor without having to take it to repair shop? P.S i got windows 11, Fn + F9 doesnt work. i need my laptop to be fixed ASAP for

Enabling graphic card without monitor

I was able to get my screen working again by plugging the monitor into the HDMI port on the Nvidia graphic card. This was with a HDMI plug at both ends of the cord. I have to select the specific HDMI port on the monitor that has the Nvidia graphics card
plugged into that port, with the monitor's input buttons. The Nvidia card on my Dell XPS 8900 has a HDMI port and a VGA port and a DVI port. Guess Nvidia built it compatible for all ages of monitors.

The VGA port on the Nvidia graphic card didn't work with an HDMI plug adapter at the monitor end of the cord. Don't know why. This newer monitor doesn't have a VGA port. I hadn't tried using the DVI port on the Nvidia graphic card, since the HDMI port got
things working already. Oddly, the Intel HD graphic card doesn't turn the screen on anymore even though I enabled it in Device Manager, but since the Nvidia works fine I don't need the integrated graphic card at the moment and will figure that out later. The
moral of the story is never disable your Intel HD graphic card. It will leave you in the dark!

1. May I know the model number of AOC display monitor?
2. Is this the first time that you are trying to setup the display using HDMI?

You can try to use an adaptor (USB/HDMI or VGA as the card has 3 slots) to connect to monitor. I would also suggest you to get in touch with Nvidia to know more about this as there can be output issues while using adaptors and your Graphic card (GTX
1660 Ti) might not work as expected.

Hi,

Your computer makes a noise or beeps from your internal speaker because it failed to detect the graphics card. What we can suggest is for you to try cleaning your graphics card with a pencil eraser. Here are the steps below:

• Turn your computer off.
• Pull out your video/graphics card.
• Rubbed the cold contacts with soft pencil eraser.
• Connect your video/graphics card back to the computer.

Kindly note that this is just a temporary fix. If the case still continues, I suggest that you contact your graphics card's manufacturer.
