Windows 10: How do I enable my battery time estimator from BIOS?

My HP Probook 450 G9 battery remaining time doesn't show up when I hover over the battery icon. It shows in battery settings but only displays the battery percentage in the taskbar when I hover over the icon.I have edited registry to no avail. I have also tried booting into BIOS but can't find the System Configuration tab anywhere to enable battery estimator.Please help.

Battery on taskbar not showing estimated time left after updating to Creators Update

We understand that the issue also happened after doing the latest Creator's Update. You can check out the steps below to resolve the issue:

• Make sure your device has applied the latest firmware/BIOS from your manufacturer and all drivers are up-to-date.
  
• Restart the PC and boot to the BIOS menu. For example, use Esc+F10 on Spectre x360. Hit the ESC key until you see the HP logo, and then press F10 to select the BIOS Setup.
• Use the right arrow key to change to the System Configuration tab, select the Battery Remaining Time option, press Enter and select the Enable, then press F10 to save all changes and exit BIOS. Once you login system, Windows 10 will take time to calibrate
  the estimate and then display the status information normally.

Enable or Disable Battery Life Estimated Time Remaining in Windows 10  




I tried getting the estimated battery time loaded several times and cannot get it to take. Seems like the registry entry made it ok and the ones that were to be taken out are gone. Did the reboots and all, just no go.
Any thoughts?

 

Incorrect battery estimate time

Hi,

I have a Lenovo S340 laptop in which battery estimate time is showing incorrect and keeps on fluctuating regularly.

Though the battery backup is same as usual but only the estimation is showing wrong.

Please help me in resolving this.
