Windows 10: How do I enable Windows firewall Defender by using command prompt? Error code 10107

Windows Firewall Defender stop my computer from using Internet. I also tried to resolve the problem using command prompt I typed "netsh advfirewall set profiles state on" to enable firewall,but there was an error code 10107 fail to start. Please help me with this problem.I also tried to reset firewall. By typed in "netsh advfirewall reset". But " an error occurred while attempting to contact the windows defender firewall service. Make sure that the service is running and try your request again."

1. Are you using any other Anti-virus software?
   
2. Since when are you facing this issue?
   
3. Have you tried installing Picture viewer and Calendar app after it getting uninstalled?
   

Based on your information, I would like to inform you that if you are using third party anti-virus program Windows defender will automatically turn off from your system you will not able turn it on manually.

Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. Follow the below methods.

Method 1: Check the following services and ensure it is started.

1. Press Windows and R key together on your Keyboard.
   
2. Type Services.msc and hit Enter.
   
3. Search for the following services:
   

• Base filtering engine Service
• Remote Procedure Call Service
• Windows defender firewall service

4. Start the above services and reboot the device.

Method 2: I would suggest you to try running the troubleshooter to enable the firewall. Use the below link to run the troubleshooter.

Error code 0x8007042c while enabling Windows Firewall

Thank you for your prompt reply Vinodh.

I followed the steps you had suggested and still found no luck. I am still receiving the same error codes after temporarily disabling my third-party security software and attempting to start up the Windows Firewall.

I am not sure what the issue is, but it has actually disabled both my Windows Firewall and third-party security software firewall as well. Both are not running.

Would I just follow the same steps within safe mode after hooking up to the other system?
