Windows 10: How do i enter bitlocker code?

I tried to find my bitlocker code using aka.ms/mynitlockerkey. I found a bunch of numbers and alpha characters mixed. I have no idea how to enter the alpha characters as only the numerical one show in the nitlocker entry window. This is very poor instructions and management by Microsoft and I am truly very disappointed. I don't expect to get a reply because I am rightly slamming Microsoft. Have a great day/night

The Windows is Version 10.0.16299 Build 16299.

• Was your computer previously connected to a domain network?

No

• When you had your BitLocker set up, was it on the same hard disk drive?

I don't really know, but I guess so. I was not even aware of the BitLocker until I was asked for the key. It only happened after they changed the motherboard.

• Is the computer a workstation or is it a personal computer?

Personal.

I should emphasise that I am only asked for the key sometimes.
