Windows 10: How do I extend my Boot Volume by moving unallocated space from another disk in WIndows 10?

How do I extend my Boot Volume Disk 1 - Acer C: by moving unallocated space from another disk Disk 0? Extend Volume option on Boot Acer C: is Greyed out even with admin permissions. Is Disk Management capabale of making this happen and if not, what other 3P tools can I use?

Okay...thanks. Will look at it tomorrow. FYI, I figured out how to get that unformatted G partition back into D.

In Disk Management, I right clicked G and selected "Delete Volume." That rendered the partition as unallocated. I was then able to extend D with that space.

I can't extend the existing volume to an unallocated space

I just installed Ubuntu on a partition in my secondary hard drive and removed it from disk manager in windows 10.

As shown in the above picture, there is a 285.32gb unallocated space, but I cannot extend New Volume (D) to that unallocated space.

I could choose 'extend the volume' by right-clicking New Volume and Extend Volume Wizard popped up.

But, at the end, it gave me an error message saying 'there is not enough available space on the disk(s) to complete this operation'.

When I tried to create a new volume with that unallocated space, I got the same error.

I looked up a solution on the internet and could find similar cases, but could not find any solution.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
