    How do I fix a boot loop and a password incorrect glitch?


    Its been 6 days since this started. My pc caught a virus which I then factory resetted my pc spectre desktop. Ever since I did I was stuck in a boot loop. I tried to do many different things which led me to a new whole system I didn't even see which was Windows. I'm currently on Windows10 with the system restore screen up. every time I put in a password which is correct it says it isnt. I dug a bit and found out its possibly because of the WiFi and not being connected with it. I can't connect with the WiFi without logging into the Sig in screen. I'm confused what to do

    How do I get out of safe mode so I can reset my settings?

    1. Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
    2. Type msconfig and press Enter.
    3. In the window, click on Boot tab.
    4. uncheck Safe boot, click on Apply and Ok. Restart
    Not sure why it started in Safe mode. May have been out of sync with your phone from prev incorrect password. See if restart fixes. At least, you know what your universal MS password is. *Wink

    How do I fix a boot loop and a password incorrect glitch?

    Password Incorrect

    I have used some of the YouTube "fixes", with no success. I tried Hiren's BootCD PE, without success. Since using Hiren's, when Windows boots, I immediately get a "password incorrect" message, without ever having entered a password. I removed the passwords via Hiren's, but I don't get a chance to try it, because the "incorrect" message comes up immediately.
    Any more ideas? I'm getting desperate.
