Windows 10: How do I fix a transparency glitch with my taskbar?

Hello, I've been having trouble with my taskbar, and nothing I seem to do has been able to fix it. It is constantly transparent even though I've turned off the transparency settings. Due to this, I can never see any of the icons i.e. the time, battery, wifi, etc. without a dark background since all of the icons are white. I've tried turning the transparency effects on and off, changing the theme from dark to light, changing the accent color, and restarting my laptop, but nothing has worked. I don't know if there's something else that I haven't done yet, but any help would be greatly apprecia

I would suggest you to change the desktop themes and check if you are able to see the transparent taskbar.

If that doesn't help I would suggest you to end the explorer.exe and restart it and see if you are able to see the transparent taskbar.

Please follow the steps below to restart explorer.exe:

stop and start Explorer.exe

    Right click on the taskbar and select task manager.
    
  • 
    In the process Right click on windows explorer and end the task
    
  • 
    Restart the task by clicking on the file and select new task
    
  • 
    Type Explorer.exe and press enter.

Task bar transparency glitch. Is there any way to fix this?

Hello, I have a strange issue with my taskbar on my Windows 11 laptop. (To be fair, this already happened with two laptops, both with Windows 11 and Windows 10.)
I want my taskbar to be transparent, I go on the Personalization menu and toggle the switch near the "Transparency effects", but at least once or twice every day I find out that the taskbar isn't transparent anymore. I've tried restarting Explorer.exe, I've tried to reinstall the Start menu via PowerShell, I've tried restarting my pc over and over, nothing seems to work. The Transparency effects will simply decide to start working again out of nowhere, just like they mysteriously stop working all of a sudden.
Is there any way to make this issue go away? Thanks in advance

 

Start Menu Transparency glitch

I'm using W10 1903 build and I noticed there's a glitch with the transparency effect.

As you can see in the attached gif, start menu opens in full transparency and suddendly become blurry, this does not happen with the notification panel (but on another laptop I got the same issue on the notification panel as well).

Already tried to change theme, remove transparency, set the EnableBlurBehind property in the register to 0 and sfc, but nothing works to fix it.
