Windows 10: How do I fix an hours long black screen upon restarting

I have windows 10 and whenever my laptop starts up, it’s just a back screen and the cursor. Whenever it finally does come to the desktop. Nothing will work. Everything has a lag and nothing will open. Like it’s processing so much. Why do I need to do so much to my computer to fix your poor product?

Is there a fix for the 9600gt black screen issue?

From what i gathered this problem is old but it started happening to me just not too long ago, at first it was with games and videos now it's almost random, sometimes it doesnt take more than a few seconds for it to happen, even in the bios menu.


When the black screen occurs and i restart manually, sometimes windows logs in while it's in black screen and i can hear whats going on in the background, and other times no start up no nothing and just black screen.

And if by some miracle it gave a display signal after a manual restart, it wont stay for long until it happens again faster this time. so if i...

"Removed" the card say for a few days and put it back in it takes longer for the black screen to happen.

Tried downclocking, checked if it overheats nothing works. I've been searching a lot to fix this problem but to no avail. I know it's old but i really need your help on this one guys.
