Windows 10: How do I fix audio that shows as working?

So, a few weeks ago I was cleaning my computer to free up space, so I went to 'Apps > Installed apps'. I was deleting some stuff that I thought I didn't need but then the next day my audio wasn't working, and was showing that I had only one audio device IntelR Display Audio. So I tested it by listening to music to see if I would hear anything, and I didn't hear it but in settings it showed that it was perfectly fine. I think there are a few possibilities, but most likely it was a deleted app. So, can anybody tell me what audio apps I need in the "Installed apps" section, and please tell

Audio Not Working after numerous fixes...

Hi there J, I will be your Independent Advisor for today, I hope we can both resolve your problem.

What I can suggest is DELETE completely all the Audio drivers listed in the device manager.

There should be a small box that you can tick to delete completely the Audio driver.

And make sure you remove all audio devices listed.

Here is how to do it

Here the steps to completely remove a Device off your computer.

Step 1. Use shortcut keys Win + X on Windows 10.

Step 2. Select Device Manager.

Step 3. Expand the entry. Right-click the problematic device and select Uninstall device.

Step 4. You may need to check the option Delete the driver software for this device, and then click the Uninstall button.

Step 5. Reboot the computer.

• What troubleshooting steps have you performed to fix the issue?

Rear audio ports always show as “Not plugged in”


I've been having this issue with Windows for about a week now which NONE of the back panel/front panel connectors (speakers, microphone) are being recognized by Realtek audio manager. The only audio input/outputs that are showing are the optical.
Troubling shooting steps I've tried (none worked):

• COMPLETELY uninstall all Realtek drivers/reinstall
  
• Tried using windows drivers
  
• Reinstall Windows 10
  
• Upgraded chipset driver
  
• sfc /scannow

I called EVGA and asked for RMA but then I booted into a Ubuntu OS and all the ports work FINE. It must be a problem with windows 10.
Can you think of any other troubling shooting step I can try to fix this annoying issue? Thanks!
