Windows 10: how do i fix buzzing/static sound?

when i plug my 'bloody:G500 gaming headset' into my pc it makes a static/buzzing sound how can i fix it its there when there is no sound being played it doesn't do this if i use my headset with my phone

Is it Safe to Cut the Ground Prong? | Paschal Air, Plumbing & Electric terrible suggestion from a safety perspective. I would never do or recommend that. Better to fix the root cause of the problem.
