Windows 10: How do i fix calculator spamm opening when i hold down the C key.

this just started happening when i was playing singlecplayer Gmod, i held down C to get the context menu and the i accidentally hit the windows button, and then i saw there was many calculator tabs open, after a while i found out that when i held down C, the microsoft calculator spamm opened itself, i tried deleting it, but then it would kick me out of the game and ask if i wanted to download it, i need help to fix this, i have tried for 1 hour now and its still like this.

Calculator Will not Open

If it is a built in Calculator I would suggest you to check if you can open and check the status.

  Press Windows + R keys.

  Type calc and hit Enter
  and check the status if its opening.
  

I would also suggest you to try creating a new user account
and check if issue persists.

How to use a function key/shortkey to open the Calculator in Windows 10

Hi,

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

1. Press Windows key + R.

2. Type C:\Windows\System32 and press enter

3. Type calc.exe in the file explorer search bar.

4. Once the calculator icon appears, right click on it and select 'create shortcut". You will get the option to create the shortcut in the desktop.

5. Press Windows key + D to go back to desktop.

6. Right click on the calculator shortcut icon and select "properties".

7. Click the "shortcut" tab.

8. Under Shortcut key, click on "none" and press "C" and save the changes. .

9. The new shortcut key will change to Ctrl +Alt + C. Save the changes and check the functionality.
