Windows 10: How do I fix cmd.exe and powershell.exe throwing error 0x0000142 in Windows 10? Dont want...

Hi I am trying to fix windows. My system detected a virus using malwarebytes and in the process windows defender, avira, cmd, powershell and node.exe where affected. I was checking the executable files of each program and they do exist in my system. Opening as administrator doesnt do anything. Things affected:- windows defender, avira, cmd, powershell and node.exe- cant install windows updates some updates install and others dont- refresh of windows 10 with media creation doesnt work It always says cant install windows- I already ran chkdsk and worked didnt fix it- I already ran DISM, it

Ok have a problem with .exe errors no software will open. eg. taskmanger wont open cmd wont open. i have tried everything. its like the .exe is turned off. And i cant fix it because i cant get to powershell or cmd to run commands. Bexuase i have a problem with .exe i cant even open my email. Please help

If the CMD or PowerShell window close automatically, your system could be infected.

Download Malwarebytes Antimalware and run a full scan. Eliminate every malware it finds.



If the problem persists, do the following:

• Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST64.exe)
  
• Run FRST64.exe and click "Scan".
