Windows 10: How do i fix direct x error

I have gotten the same error on both specs.My previous SpecsRyzen 5 5600x 6 core @ ??32gb DDR42070 Supermy current specs areRyzen 7 9700x 8 core @ 3.80ghz32GB DDR52070 superI'm still getting frequent crashes on games with the same message "Direct X error." I've tried clean reinstalling drivers, disk cleanups, clean game reinstalls, even as gone as far as reinstalling windows. Nothing works.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check:

• 
  Press Windows + R keys together.
  
• 
  Type dxdiag in the run prompt and hit enter.
  
• 
  Now check for the version of Direct x.

Okay so,

I'm not running any overlay software.

The issue is consistent, as in every time I complete a mission, the game crashes instead of going into the next cutscene.

There are no errors when I run dxdiag.

I'm about to reinstall direct X, update, and see if that changes anything..
