Windows 10: How Do I Fix Discord Distorting Other Applications' Audio

Ive been having this issue for almost a year now and it has been driving me crazy trying to fix this.So anytime Discord is playing audio this can be from videos or from a VC, the distorts/muffles the audio from other applications. ~"You should fix your audio drivers", I have been. I have reinstalled, updated, etc, my audio drivers for 11 months now and NOTHING has fixed my issue.~"Maybe it is your headset," I have bought many headsets, NOTHING has fixed my issue, it is not the headset.~"Reinstall Discord" tried that, nothing seems to be working.Most solutions I see only apply to Windows 10 a

Distorted Audio, Feedback Loops, and Sound Cutting Out in Windows 11

Been having some strange audio problems. I use an external recording/sound setup for my PC (Focusrite Solo Studio) that uses a headphone and microphone.

Since Wendsday of last week, I've had a myriad of audio probelms with my PC, and I do not know what to do. Issues are:

• Audio in browser, zoom, discord, music apps will randomly stop all at once. I do not know what triggers this specifically.
  
• Audio will becoming distorted for a few seconds at random, with popping and a buzzing.
  
• Zoom & Discord audio, specifically incoming sound will sometimes double over and become distorted in my headphones and stop randomly. This usually happens 30 minutes into a call.
  

I have tried reinstalling the Focusrite drivers and hardware twice and troubleshooting in Win11 is no help. At my wits end with this, need help soon.

 

How to fix Win10 Audio distortion

Ever since the last update for win7....and then an update for win10 afew months ago, I have had audio distortion.
When sounds get loud (as in movies or games) the audio starts breaking up.

I followed the Microsoft info to uninstall various drivers....but I have not been able to fix the audio distortion.

Uninstalled logitech headphone software
uninstalled Realtek audio software
uninstalled windows sound drivers
re-booted.

Windows installed software for my headphones automatically. I didn't install the logitech software or realtek audio software, but still have audio distortion.

I don't know what to do now.

Any ideas?
