Windows 10: How do I fix DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION?

I've had this issue for quite a while now, but only now decided to try and fix it. I've been looking for my own ways to fix it but it seems out of my league without help. The problem happens a while usually an hour or so after booting up my pc, when it just crashes and gives the error DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. The strange part is after the crash, it just works as normal. Blue screen: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

After a recent updating, my machine has blue screen every 5 - 10 minutes.

The error code is DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

I saw another post here which suggest to use "iastor.sys". But I don't have that in the driver list. Mine is storahci.sys.

Unable to fix DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

Hi,

Thank you for the minidump files and as per the logs, the issue is caused by ntoskrnl.exe so I suggest you follow the below steps to fix the issue.

Step 1:

Go to search box next to windows icon and type Edit Power Plan

Step 2:

Then click on Change advanced power settings

Step 3:

Expand Harddisk and then expand Turn off hard disk after

Step 4:

Set value for On battery and Plugged into 0 (Zero)

Step 5:

Click/tap on Apply and then press OK.

Step 6:

Restart the PC

Let me know the status after performing the above & if in case it doesn't resolve the issue will provide you with further steps to fix the issue.
