Windows 10: How do I fix frequent internet disconnects?

At first, I thought I was disconnecting due to joining a multiplayer Steam game, Terraria, however I shortly noticed that it wasn't due to the game, it's just due to the fact that my computer has some default function, or it's overwhelmed with cache, I am not entirely sure. I tried updating; resetting the network; updating the drivers but none were to resolve my issue, due to Microsoft Live Chat being replaced with "Microsoft Advisers", I am asking this forum if they know a way to resolve my issue, if you have any idea on what is causing the issue, please let me know with a solution, excluding the methods mentioned above.

Internet disconnects frequently while playing steam games

Yes, I can confirm that both the computer which I am starting the game on, and another computer, gets a Ping Timeout.

What happens is, i start the game. As soon as i do anything that interferes with the internet (e.g. loading up the Servers list to join a game, or sometimes i even get into the game, but gets disconnected too quick for me to start playing)

 

Router disconnects from internet and reconnects

My router has been acting up lately. Its been disconnecting from the internet and eventually reconnects overtime. But the disconnect happens so frequently, its annoying and I've reverted to asking for help.

I will keep that suggestion for older drivers in mind. As the Internet is working as of now I cannot say if the problem is truly fixed.
