Windows 10: How do I fix Microsoft updates so they'll install

I have been trying for a couple of months to get the Windows updates to install I have a screenshot of the problem. I've tried every solution I can find through Microsoft and ad hoc solutions recommended in Google searches. Nothing works. The error number that keeps coming up is 0X800f0831. Any suggestions on how to fix this error so the updates will install properly?Thanks

Windows updates won't install!

I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?

There is no need to install update separately it will be automatically installed when you download the update, I suggest you to go to Control panel and check whether the update is installed are not.

Follow the steps to check for Update.

• 
  Click on View installed updates.
  
• 
  Check for the Update in the list.
