Windows 10: How do I fix missing "Integrated Monitor" after my screen went black?

Hi! I had a black screen problem on my laptop. Before it went totally black, some parts of my screen seemed like pixels were glitching and then it went black. I tried the 60-second reboot many times but the screen did not display anything, the issue remained the same. With that, I connected an external monitor and there is a display and the computer works fine. After that, I observed that I could not adjust my display brightness anymore and it did not appear in display settings. So, I checked the "device manager" only to find out that only the "generic monitor external monitor" was detected

Can be due to Video card or it's drivers, but would suggest getting Windows 10 ISO.

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to go to device manager and disable the display drivers, check whether the issue persists or not.

• Press Windows + X keys and click
  Device manager.
• Click to expand Display adapters, right click the second adapter and click
  Disable.
• Restart the computer and check whether the issue persists or not.
• Repeat the same steps to disable the first display adapter and check if it helps.

If you find the issue is with anyone of the display adapters then, I suggest you to update the display drivers from the manufactures website for Windows 10 and check if it helps.
