Windows 10: how do I fix my computer not detecting a monitor and glitching when booting up?

Hi,I’ve had these issues for a while now with my old pc, I recently bought a brand new pc and it’s having the same 2 issues.First off Sometimes when I boot up my computer I’m not able to drag windows to another monitor, or use anything in the taskbar. If I try to click the windows button it opens for a split second and then closes immediately. Same goes for taskmanager / CNTR + ALT + Delete. I can only shut down my pc by pressing its power button.The other one is that sometimes when I boot my pc one of my monitors can’t connect, sometimes it’s monitor 1 and sometimes it’s monitor 2. It’s not

Windows 10 stopped detecting ThinkVision M14 monitor

I understand that you are unable to use ThinkVision M14 monitor on your computer. I’ll help you with the issue.



However, please let us know:

• Are you aware of any changes made to the computer recently?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer that you are using?
  

As you have mentioned that you are able to use the monitor with a different computer, I suspect it could be an issue with the drivers on the computer. I would suggest you to check for hidden drivers on the computer and try to update them. Refer the
steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows Logo key + X, and select
   Device Manager.
   
2. Click on View and select
   Show hidden devices.
   
3. Expand Monitors and check if there is any
   hidden device.
   
4. If there is any hidden device, right click on it and select
   Update Driver.
   

You can also install
ThinkVision M14 Monitor Driver and see if that makes any difference.



Since you are using a USB-C adapter, I suggest you to refer the article on

Fix USB-C problems.



You may also try updating the Chipset drivers from the computer manufacturer’s website and then check if the Monitor is detected.

win10 update 1903 not detecting monitor on boot

win10 update 1903 not detecting HDMI monitor on boot. I cant do anything else because my monitor is not working so cant enter the system for this reason. I tried to remove battery from MB for 45 minutes
and its still not working. Any suggestion would be helpful.
