Windows 10: How do I fix my CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED BOSD?

I think I'm at my last straw. My computer is continuously crashing with CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED BOSD, I've looked for all the common solutions given on the internet, none of them have worked. I've even went to the point of just doing a whole reset of my computer and reinstall Windows and all, and no luck.The issue is so bad that it crashes, and when automatically restarting, crashes in the middle of the restart. I legit do nothing and the BOSD appears.I have no clue how to fix this problem anymore, is this just the end of my computer?I use a Lenovo Yoga C940-14IIL Laptop, and my computer is up t

In order to resolve your concern, we suggest that you to follow these steps:

• If you've installed any new apps or devices, uninstall or unplug them and restart your PC.
• Make sure your PC has the latest updates:

• Go to the search box.
• Type Windows Update then Enter.
• Select Check for updates.
• In the Settings menu, select Check for updates button.
• When it's finished, restart your PC.

Consistent BOSD while installing Adobe CC, CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED

I've got an Adobe CC package provided to me by my school. It's a standalone installer, however whenever I run it, I'm met with a BOSD with the error code CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. I've run it in both normally and as administrator, and searching online has told me to run System File Checker. Each time I run it however, following these instructions exactly, it says "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."

Do let us know the following to assist you better with this issue:

• Were you able to see any error code along with the error message?
• Have you made any hardware/ software changes to the device prior to this issue?
• Have you checked if the issue persists on Safe mode with networking as well?

The CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED bug check has a value of 0x000000EF. This indicates that a critical system process died.

Step 1: As you have performed SFC scan, found some corrupted and couldn't fix, try the below and check if it helps.

If you are not able to repair some files after performing SFC scan, I suggest you to refer to the point 3 “Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log
%WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log”. Under the section “Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe)” to repair the corrupted files after performing SFC scan.

Step 2: If the issue still persists, I suggest you to perform DISM on your system to fix corrupted system files.

Step 3: I suggest you to install the pending updates on your device and check if it helps.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.
