    I connected my Seagate 2TB USB external drive to a Windows 10 laptop. The system froze and the only way to recover was to force a reboot by holding down the power button. After the reboot, the USB drive was not recognized. I did not troubleshoot the issue because I had purchased a Win 11 laptop. I connected the USB drive to the Win 11 laptop and again, the drive does not appear in File Explorer. It is recognized in Device Manager and Disk Management. Disk Management shows the disk must be initialized which I tried using both the MBR and GPT styles. In both cases, the message "The reques
