Windows 10: How do I fix my F1-F12 keys? They aren't responsive and only work when i press fn key.

my f1-F12 keys dont work, they only work when i press the FN key along with one of the keys i want to use. Ex, f7 is increased volume, to increase it i have to press fn+f7.
