Windows 10: How do I fix my HP Victus laptop from having black screens?

Out of nowhere my laptop has started malfunctioning and flickers presenting constant black screens that sometimes takes me to the lock screen and sometimes not. I don’t know what to do and even the power button light flickers too when this happens. It’s not overheating as even if I am not doing anything it just starts doing it. I would really appreciate some help on this and it has been only 1 year with my laptop

HP Victus 16 will not connect to second monitor

Heyo, I got a pretty weird problem with my laptop.

I basically have a dual external monitor setup connected to my HP Victus 16, one connected via HDMI (works perfectly) and one connected via USB-C to DP (HP ZR24w, buggy and almost never works).

The problem is, is that sometimes I can get the monitor to work sometimes, but other times, it will just:

• Disconnect randomy
  
• Not connect at all (no signal)
  
• Connect but show a black screen (windows settings forces the device to stay disconnected)
  
• Wont detect the display after a sleep/restart/shutdown and etc.
  

Things I have tried:

• Cleanly installing windows.
  
• Updating nvidia/intel drivers
  
• Downloading all the drivers from HP website
  
• Check if the cable is faulty (it's not)
  
• Reconnect the monitor (obviously)
  
• Mess around in bios with USB-C settings (idk, might be something there or not?)
  
• Restart the graphics driver (Win+Ctrl+Shift+B)
  

Any ideas on how I could possibly fix this frustrating issue?

1. What is the model of HP laptop you are using?
   
2. Does the black screen occur while using the PC or while restarting the machine?
   
3. Are you aware of any changes happened on the computer prior to the issue?
   
4. Which version of Windows you are using? (To check, type:winver in start menu and hit enter.)
   

I appreciate the time you have taken to resolve this issue. There can be many reasons for booting to a black screen.
These screens may appear with or without the mouse pointer.
The main causes are Problems with the driver for your display adapter or incompatible application.

I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned in the article on

refer the section
I see a black or blank screen after signing in to Windows 10.

If that doesn’t help, I would also suggest you to go through the article provided by HP on
