Windows 10: How do I fix my keyboard?

My laptop keyboard is messed up for some reason. I can't type anything and if I press certain keys it acts as a shortcut. For example, when Im trying to type and I press "f" it opens up settings for Google chrome. And when I type the spacebar it just puts in "-0". I've tried fixing my keyboard driver and restarting, but it's still messed up. Oh also every time I open Google and sometimes other apps, it always pops up asking me if I want to allow it to make changes to my device. I've tried allowing and and not allowing it but it still continues to pop up regardless. Please help.

Step 1: You may check if the ALT key is functioning correctly in on-screen keyboard. It will help us to verify if there is any issue with the keyboard.

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.

  Windows + Q, type OSK (on-screen keyboard)
  
• 
  And check if it works
  

Step 2: Run Hardware and device Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your devices. Refer these steps:

  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.

  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.

Keyboard problem in Windows 10

I suggest you to check if the issue persists when you connect another keyboard to your system.

If the issue is with the keyboard, then suggest you to update the keyboard drivers by following the steps below.

How to fix emoji keyboard not showing up using shortcut

This issue is often caused by a corrupted or missing data file. To better isolate if this is a user profile specific or an emerging issue, we suggest that you create a new user profile and try to use the same keyboard shortcut to get the emoji keyboard to

• Right-click on the Taskbar.
• Select the Show touch keyboard button option and a keyboard icon will show up on your
