Windows 10: How do i fix my Minecraft multiplayer?

I bought Minecraft about a year ago. And for some reason my Multiplayer doesn't work. I have gone to the Privacy Settings in my Xbox profile and set all multiplayer servers and communication to allow but it still doesn't seem to work. It still shows the multiplayer option in black and says that Your multiplayer is blocked due to privacy reasons on your Microsoft profile. Microsoft I need help.
