    Thanks Greg for all of your suggestions....a lot to try for someone non-techie, but I'll try what I can. BTW, The Synaptics mini mouse goes left when I go right and up when I go down. of course the opposite of those also.

    I have to pack right now for a trip in the morning, but when I get there I will try the suggestions you give. If you have anything more specific for what I just told you in this reply, I'll try that first. How do I fix my mouse if I go up it goes left if I goes down it goes right my mouse us a... :)

    Windows 10 every slide bar goes to the right

    Every slide bar goes to the right when a mouse hovers over it. Explorers list on left side scrolls down. Any list scrolls down when mouse hovers over the list, Numerous keys make Firefox and explorer make the browser backup one page.

    I've replaced the ps2 keyboard with a usb keyboard. Replace wireless mouse with a corded usb mouse. Remote controlling the pc and symptoms are the same. Rebooted tried a restore, same.

    I've scanned with Microsoft's scanner, Malware Bytes, Norton, etc, etc. Nothing ever found.

    My Synaptics mouse goes in the opposite direction on my laptop. How can I change that?
