Windows 10: How do I fix my PC after User profile service failed and white screen after entering safe...

I factory reseted my pc using cloud. When it was done, everything looked normal. I typed in the pin to my account then an error msg popped up saying that the user profile service failed and i couldnt log in. I entered safe mode and then safe mode with networking so that i could run a command but it just got stuck on a white screen. Hello,

When attempting to login to my computer, I get the following message:

"The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in.

User profile cannot be loaded."

I referred to this Help article,You receive a "The User Profile Service failed the logon” error
message,

but the only difference is I only have one user profile on this computer. So, I can't login with another user to go through the steps listed in this post.

Any suggestions?

I am using registry editor from command prompt. Drilled down to c:windows\system32\config inside the Load Hive dialog window. Have selected (checked box) the SAM file; clicking on Open opens error message that says:


SAM
This file is in use.
Enter a new name or close the file that's open in another program.

I am at a loss, since I am not running any other program!

Any suggestions?

The SAM file is listed as being 64KB file size.

I recently reset my PC(I did not recycle it) to get more storage and whenever I try to login now after resetting my pc it gives me this error:

windows 10 The User Profile Service service failed the sing-in User profile cannot be loaded

Can anyone help me?

PS going into safe mode takes a long time loading after entering my password then it gives me a white screen.
