Windows 10: How do i fix my screen being fuzzy while still being set to 1080p?

It all started when I opened a game i bought on steam for the first team and after exiting it my screen was blurry and larger than my display to the point that the bottom task bar and chrome tabs were not showing at all. Restarting my CPU didn't work, so I resized my screen using the nvidia control panel but my screen was still very blurry and awful looking. My screen is still at the native resolution 1920 X 1080 and when I try to lower it it just looks even worse. I've also kept the display scale at 100 percent since fiddling with it didn't help. Some sites recommended to auto calibrate my monitor display but I can't find any such option in my monitor settings. Even then, I'm fairly sure this whole issue is on the windows end since opening that stupid game was what caused my whole display to get destroyed in the first place the game was assassin's creed: rogue. I'm completely stumped on this issue and it really does feel like my monitor has been downgraded to a 1999 display despite supposedly being at 1080p. Any help is appreciated.

Fuzzy 5800 Screen

When I unlock the screen, the screen appears fuzzy for about half a second as shown below. I've updated the software to v21.0.025 and restored factory settings. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Fuzzy 5800 Screen

Had the same problem. The screen used to stay fuzzy 2 to 30s after unlock. I've noticed that it only happened when my phone was cold - the colder it was, the longer the fuzzy screen.



The problem completely disappeared after the latest update: v50.0.005. I've tried setting it off again, by exposing the phone to cold, even kept it in the fridge for half an hour, and still no fuzzy screen.



So it proved to be a software problem after all. Try the latest update, and only if that doesn't fix it, take it back to the store for repairs.

 

Fuzzy Text - EDID Fix....Need Help

Computer: Zotac MAG HD-ND01, Nvidia ION Video.
Monitor: Westinghouse 32" 1080P TV.
Op System: Windows 7 64bit.

Problem: Fuzzy text when using HDMI @1920x1080P. Text sharp using VGA.

I know that the solution is to edit the registry to override the monitors HDID extensions to disable audio over HDMI.

I downloaded some tools like Phoenix EDID Designer, and Monitor Asset Manager but don't have a clue how to proceed.
