How to keep screen to Full Screen when resolution is reduced to 1280*720

    Hi Shailesh,

Reducing the resolution will also reduce the size of the image displayed on the screen. Since your video card's maximum resolution is 1980 x 1080, which is a 4K display, if it is reduced to 1280 x 720, which is high-definition, then the displayed screen
will really shrink to fit the set resolution. You can have full screen by stretching the image, though it will not be as clear as it was when not in full screen using a lower resolution. Check from the settings if the background is set to Stretch
to have a full screen view. To check, go to Settings >
    Personalization
    > Background > Choose a fit > Stretch.

Get back to us if you need further assistance.

  3. Screen Resolution to 1280 x1024

I am trying to 'extend my display' to use 2 screens. When I specify 'extend my display' in the Display application, my monitor says 'Input signal out of Range', change settings to 1280 x 1024, however my laptop doesn't allow me to change the resolution
to this setting. If I don't have 'extend my display' on and have 'duplicate my display', my laptop will then allow the 1280 x 1024 display resolution option. I am running Windows 10 Home edition on my HP laptop, the monitor I am trying to use is an HP ProDisplay
P17A. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
