Windows 10: How do I fix My third display becoming blurry?

So I recently switched over to an AMD graphics card, I had no issues at first but noticed the card was having some problems when I rendered certain things in game, after some deep diving into my drivers I realized I still had something from Nvidia deeply rooted into my pc. I deleted it, un installed and re installed drivers for AMD. However, a very odd problem has arrived. My third monitor An Emerson TV Has become very blurry whenever I have on more than two displays. If I turn off either one of my other two monitorsNot the Emerson the problem disappears! Its bizarre. I've tried everything

Blurry app fix for Windows 10 (v1709)

Hello,

I have an older version (1709) of Windows 10, which I cannot find a fix for the blurry apps on my high resolution display - Microsoft's listed solutions to this only pertain only to later versions of Windows 10. Of course, these can be fixed in the Microsoft
apps by choosing "best appearance", though sadly, this is limited to only Microsoft apps. Any suggestions?

Text blurrying out casually?

Hi Alessio, welcome to the Microsoft community, my name is Bruno Leonel, I am happy to help you.

I understand that you're having issues with blurry text on your new monitor, and I'm really sorry about that. I will try to help you in the best possible way.

In some cases, the problem can be caused by a loose or faulty cable.

See if the cable is tight on the monitor and also on the computer. If the problem persists, consider replacing the cable.

I suggest initially that you try to perform the steps below:

Step 1

Use ClearType

Open the menu and search for "Adjust ClearType Text" and click trim to open.

Follow the steps on the screen that will open.

step 2

Click "Start Menu" and click "Settings" > "System".

In "System", click "Display", the option "Change the size of text, apps and other items", set it to 100%. If it already is, go to the next step.

step 3

Open Windows 10/11 search and type fix blurry apps. In the list of options, click Fix apps that are blurry settings.

This will open the Advanced Scaling Settings page.

You need to enable the toggle button behind 'Let Windows try to fix apps so they aren't blurry'

step 4

Update the video driver by the manufacturer.

Press Win + R keys and type MSinfo32.

Check the manufacturer and access the website, download the video driver and install it.

If you have an NVIDIA or RADEON graphics card, search for the card model and install the latest driver version.

Fix for blurry non-scaled secondary displays where primary is scaled

This issue might occur for various reason like incorrect display resolutions and faulty display drivers.

Let's try the below steps and check if it helps:

Step 1: I suggest you to check and set the screen resolution for both the monitors correctly and check the status of the issue.

Step 2: I would suggest you to update your Display drivers and check if it helps.

You can update drivers from the Device Manager.

• • Right click on Start button and click on Device manager.
    
  • Select Display Drivers and expand it.
  • Right click on the device and select Update driver.

Step 3: Check in compatibility mode.

Download the drivers from the computer manufacture's website for Windows 10, if not available.

Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

a. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

b. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.

c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8.1/8 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the
installation.

d. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
