    How do I fix my windows updating forever


    I flip down my windows 10 laptop to eat dinner, and when I open it again it shows just a blue screen with the loading gif and
    “Configuring update for Windows 10
    0% complete
    Do not turn off your computer”
    I literally do not have it connected to wifi; its just stuck like this. It’s been stuck at 0% for 2 hours by now. How do I fix it?

    Windows Update suddenly hangs?

    Windows Update is suddenly hanging for some reason... I went and downloaded and installed the first bunch of updates, restarted when asked, and now when I go back to windows update I just get the window with a white box forever. Reboot and it still does it. This happens to be on my main machine, running windows 7.

    I've also noticed when I reboot it says configuring windows update, step 3 of 3, 47%. Maybe it somehow skipped something and is screwed forever?

    FIXED!! Windows 7 sp1 never ends searching for updates

    Check the date on the one you thought it was. Nov 4 2015 <-That's not June

    The rollup does contain the fix.

    June 2016 update rollup for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
