Windows 10: How do I fix my wired headphones from not being recognized by my windows 11 laptop?

My wired headphones are not appearing as "Plugged in" in the Playback menu of the Sound menu from the Control Panel.I've tried troubleshooting my headphones through the Audio troubleshooter from settings, however, nothing was fixed and it stated that the headphones were not plugged in, even though they were. I have also tried updating my audio and speaker drivers, with no new updates.I also have no new system updates to install as well.I don't believe the issue is my headphones, as I literally used them perfectly fine before I updated my laptop to windows 11 from windows 10 The update happene

Having your headphones recognized as speaker when plugged in at the back of your PC could be the reason why the audio is low. To help us isolate the problem, we suggest running first the audio troubleshooter from the link Fix
sound problems.

In case the issue persists, then let's remap or retask your Realtek audio jack and see if it addresses the issue. To do that, follow the steps below:

• Open the Realtek HD Audio Manager.
• In the back panel, right click the option where your headphone is connected.
• Choose the option Connector Retasking, then select Headphone.

Wired Headphones not working after Updating to Windows 11 22H2

This morning I updated to Windows 11 22H2 on my Microsoft Surface Studio Laptop from a previous Windows 11 release, and my wired headphones haven't played any audio ever since. My speakers work when I switch to them, but my headphones do not.

I had this problem when I first got my computer, but I could fix it by changing a driver; however, the driver I changed it to seems to be gone.
