Windows 10: How do I fix svchost.exe/ctfmon.exe constantly opening with an error message. 0x0000409

I started my pc as usual, but already on the login screen svchost.exe with the error code 0x0000409 kept popping up. I eventually managed to log in. But now there is many different ones for pretty much any applications.I saw that I would download and use Microsoft .NET framework repair tool, but since every time I click anything another error window pops up I can't do anything. I'm currently really unsure how to fix this as the only fixes I find is to use the browser to download the tool.Thank you in advanceNora

[SOLVED] Cannot open .exe files

The clean boot needs an exe file to work, so therefore I can't do one!!!

Any other ideas that do not need a exe file?

• What is the complete error message that you get?
• Is the issue specific to opening .exe files?

I would request you to place the computer in clean boot and then check if the .exe files can be opened.

Perform a clean boot to check if any third party application is causing the issue, as clean boot helps in eliminating software conflicts.
